Actor Vijay's Beast had created a record with its opening day box-office gross (Rs. 38. Cr.) in Tamil Nadu (TN) and now the movie has crossed Rs. 50 Cr. mark in just 2 days in the state. Beast's gross on day 2 in TN was Rs. 14.38 Cr+ and the movie still has 2 more days of its opening weekend left.

Beast directed by Nelson Dilipkumar opened to mixed reviews, but the box-office numbers for the film in Tamil Nadu have been great so far. TN Theater Owner Association head Thiruppur Subramanian recently expressed happiness over the film's performance, confirming that the film did indeed get a 'massive opening'.
