Director Pa. Ranjith produced Writer is an upcoming Samuthirakani starrer, which revolves around an honest police officer in a corrupt environment. The movie co-produced by Golden Ratio Films, Little Red Car Films, and Jetty Productions is now all set to hit theater screens for Christmas on December 24, 2021.

Directed by debutant Franklin Jacob, Writer has been censored with an U/A and has Govind Vasantha for music. The film also stars Hari Krishnan, Lizzie Antony, Maheshwari in important roles.
