We had previously reported that director K.S. Ravikumar is producing the remake of 2019 Malayalam film Android Kunjappan Version 5. 25 and now the teaser of the movie in which K.S. Ravikumar also plays the central character is here. Bigg Boss fame Tharshan and Losliya play lead in the movie which is directed by K.S. Ravikumar's former associates Sabari and Saravanan.

The romantic angle in Koogle Kuttappa is said to have been adapted to Tamil audience's taste with some other tweaks from the original script as well. Comedian Yogi Babu plays an important role in this movie ,which is RK Celluloids' second production after Thenali (2000).
