As reported by us earlier today, several movie theaters screening Vijay's latest release Master were found in violation of the allowed 50% seating occupancy and standard operating procedures to be followed during Coronavirus pandemic. It later came to light that Kasi Theater, a popular screen in Chennai was booked under Sec 188 , 269 for the said violations and and fined Rs. 5000 as penalty. 

People on Twitter couldn't hold back on the sarcasm over the development as they foundd the sum to be a meager amount considering the gravity of the violation. They also couldn't see as to how this 'punishment' could potentially stop theater owners from violating occupancy rules in the future. 

One how will they get 5000 rupees, they might have to close the theatre
