The makers of Sivakarthikeyan's newly released film Hero which hit theater screens today were in for a shock when a pirated version of the film had made an early entry to illegal websites. Those in the know-how also claim that most of the recent movies produced by KJR Studios have made it to the infamous piracy website Tamilrockers on the day of the release.
In a bid to curb the same, the producers moved Madras High Court and on December 19, 2019, an interim junction was granted for "blocking all websites/web pages including websites hosting protected content of Hero" and the same was ordered to all Internet Service Providers and cable operators.
Respect the artist. Respect the art. Be a #HERO and say #NoToPiracy 🏴☠️

We have acquired an interim from the Hon'ble High Court of Madras to restrain all internet service providers & cable TV operators from infringing our film. We hope you will support us 🙏 pic.twitter.com/shmlVy2tuv
The producers shared a copy of the order on their official twitter handle and made a bid for saying "No to Movie Piracy".
