SCOOB!, the latest animated movie version of the famous Scooby-Doo franchise had its first trailer release recently and the adorable video takes us back to how Shaggy (Will Forte) found his best friend for life in the Great Dane Scooby Dooby Doo (Frank Welker) and how the 'gang' was formed with Fred (Zac Efron), Daphne (Amanda Seyfried), and Velma (Gina Rodriguez).
While the franchise is any day a trip down the nostalgic lane, people have found this latest version to have distorted scooby's history and have also found it uneasy for him to talk so much [Shaggy's new voice-over hasn't helped either.]
SCOOBY-DOO WAS NOT NAMED AFTER SCOOBY SNACKS, SCOOBY SNACKS WERE NAMED AFTER HIM NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!!! AND HIS NAME IS SCOOBERT DOO NOT SCOOBY DOOBIE DOO, HE WAS NAMED THAT BY HIS PARENTS NOT SHAGGY!!!!! https://t.co/U2iHuvY1aW

I firmly believe that whoever made this has never actually seen an episode of Scooby Doo https://t.co/dZY6FSmZEX

Yeah... I don't know how to feel about the #SCOOB movie. Just watched the trailer and... Eh. Don't get me wrong, the animation looks nice, but I can't really stand Shaggy's voice and having Scooby talk almost as close as a perfect human-being bothers me...

I don't care if the film manages to be "bad", this relationship is why the film is getting my money, also helps this is some of the most adorable shit I've ever seen in my life.

I gotta say, I think Scoob looks exciting! I definitely want to see it! The VA for Shaggy sounds odd but this movie seems really heartwarming, I'm gonna love it haha #SCOOB pic.twitter.com/Dcntgi6D5X
