Lockup, actor Vaibhav and Venkat Prabhu starrer film which is produced by Nithin Sathya is gearing up for a first look release at 6 PM today and at this time, it has been revealed that the movie is based on true life incidents. The revelation was made by Sathya himself who has also said that the teaser of the movie will be released by November 7, 2019. 

Vani Bhojan plays female lead in Lock Up which also stars Kaala actress Eswari Rao and Poorna in pivotal roles. Both Vaibhav and Venkat Prabhu play cops in the movie, with the latter essaying the role of an antagonist.

The film which recently had its title look reveal is directed by S.G. Charles, a former associate of Mohan Raja and has Arrol Correli for music and Santhanam Sekar for cinematography.
