Pandiraj directed rural entertainer Namma Veettu Pillai which stars Sivakarthikeyan, Anu Emmanuel and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead is currently in its first week of run at movie theaters and at this time, the makers have released a video song titled Mailaanji from the movie. 

A Sun Pictures production, Namma Veettu Pillai is Sivakarthikeyan's third collaboration with Pandiraj after Marina and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga and has music by Imman. The video released is said to contain scenes that were edited out in movie theaters.
