A while ago we had reported that the makers of SK 16, Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film with director Pandiraj are eyeing MGR's iconic film title Enga Veetu Pillai and are in talks with the original film's producers Vijaya Productions.  Recently, Vijaya Prodcutions released a press statement making it clear that the title has not been given to any other production house.

SK 16 is produced by Sun Pictures and is touted to be a rural entertainer. The film has Aishwarya Rajesh and Anu Emmanuel playing female leads and is likely to release in September this year.
