Prabhu Deva, Tamannaah starrer Devi 2 which is a sequel to their 2016 film Devi hit theater screens on May 31, 2019 and has garnered mixed reviews and responses from audience and critics. 

The film after its first week is estimated to have grossed Rs. 7 Crore in Tamil Nadu. With mixed responses and new releases like Kolaigaran is doing well at the theaters the film sustaining at Box office is highly doubtful in the coming week.

Also starring  RJ Balaji, Sonu Sood, Ajmal Amir, Dimple Hayathi among others, Devi 2 is directed by A.L. Vijay and produced by Trident Arts. The U rated horror comedy has music by Gopi Sunder and Sam C.S.
