As suggested in the first look poster and movie's earlier promotions, Monster is named after the animated rat in the film which plays the pivotal role in it. The film which went to censor process recently has been certified with a clean 'U'.  

Monster has SJSuryah and Priya Bhavanishankar in the lead roles. The film is directed by Nelson of Oru Naal Koothu fame. The film has Justin Prabhakar for music and Gokul Benoy for cinematography. Actor Karunakaran plays an important role in this film, which is bankrolled by Potential Studio and is slated for a release on May 17, 2019.
