Shahrukh Khan, Atlee spotting fuels speculation about Vijay films!

 

A few days ago we had reported about a possible cameo by Shah Rukh Khan in Thalapathy 63, Atlee's upcoming film with actor Vijay [details here]. Though this news was debunked by many Bollywood channels, a recent image has fuelled speculations about a collaboration-in-the-waiting yet again.
 
Atlee was pictured with Khan during an IPL match at Chennai, where the actor's team Kolkatta Knight Riders was playing and word has it that the duo are in talks about remaking Mersal, the director's last outing with Vijay in the lead.

It is worth mentioning here that post Zero in 2018, Shahrukh Khan has not taken up any new films but he did walk out of Rakesh Sharma's biopic. News of him starring in Farhan Akthar's Don 3 and a Madhur Bhandarkar film kept going back and forth but were never confirmed. 
 
Though nothing is official as yet, Atlee hanging out with SRK has definitely piqued curiosity and has left everyone wondering if announcements are in order from Sri Thenandal Films (original producers of Mersal) and AGS Entertainment, who are currently producing Thalapathy 63.
