New Poster, Release Date of RJ Balaji's LKG

 

RJ Balaji who has so far played second fiddles is making his debut as a lead actor with his upcoming political satire LKG which is rumoured to be a remake of Kannada film Humble Politician Nograj which in-turn is inspired from 2012's American comedy The Campaign.
  
The movie which was earlier scheduled to release for Pongal is hitting theater screens this February and according to the industry grapevine, LKG is most likely to release on February 22, 2019. LKG's recent poster which has garnered a lot of attention for striking a close resemblance to the Jayalalitha - MGR famous picture, has confirmed February release though the date is yet to be announced. 


The film is also gearing up for a first single release on January 26, 2019 and the track has been titled after Rajinikanth's famous phrase from Petta 'Tharamana Sambhavam'. Produced by Ishari Ganesh, the film has Priya Anand playing female lead and has Leon James for music.
