The trailer of Pariyerum Perumal has been released by the makers. Kathir and Anandhi play the lead roles in this rural drama directed by debutant filmmaker Mari Selvaraj. The film deals with Kathir (Pariyerum Perumal) who is a law college student and the hurdles faced by him in becoming a lawyer. The film also touches upon socio-political issues still prevailing in the rural villages.

The film is produced by director Pa. Ranjith through his home banner Neelam Productions and is set to hit theatre screens on September 28, 2018. Santhosh Narayanan has scored the music.
