Tik Tik Tik Trailer has Armageddon written all over it 
Tamil films being "inspired" from Hollywood classics is nothing new and Tik Tik Tik seems just another add to this list, as its story-line seems alarmingly close to the Bruce Willis starrer Armageddon. To those of you who haven't watched the film, Armageddon is about how the US government deploys 5 regular deep-sea drillers into space, to trigger a thermonuclear detonation of an impending asteroid that is expected to hit US in 18 days. The government discovers this asteroid-hit, after its predecessor bombards a swath of land in North Atlantic. 


Going purely from its trailer, Tik Tik Tik is about how the Indian-Tamil Nadu government deploys 1 regular magician cum escape-artist into space, to steal nuclear detonator from a secure facility to detonate an impending asteroid, that is expected to hit India in 7 days. The government discovers this asteroid-hit, after its predecessor bombards a swath of land in Tamil Nadu. 

 

 

The film is directed by Shakthi Soundar Rajan and has Nivetha Pethuraj playing female lead. Tik Tik Tik has Jayam Ravi's son Aarav debuting as Ravi and is produced by Jhabak Movies.
