Aramm Ramachandran is on cloud nine
In the recent classic Aramm, Ramachandran did a stellar job playing the father of the girl child that falls into the bore well pit. He had earlier done impressive characters in films like Naan Mahaan Alla, Jigarthanda and Sathuranga Vettai (mostly playing a drunk ruffian). Ramachandran has made everyone take notice of his important role, which is receiving accolades from all quarters.
In a press statement, Ramachandran says,
"When Gopi sir gave me the ‘Aramm’ script for reading, I just loved it thoroughly and asked him regarding who all are playing the key roles, without knowing yet that I was going to do one. Even when I read the script, I got myself attached to this role. The climatic conditions at the ‘Aramm’ shooting spot were unbearable and people used to faint and fall at times. Gopi sir’s vision, script, passion and hard work were amazing. He was very clear in what he wanted out of his actors. I am indebted to him for having given me such a role in ‘Aramm’.
Nayanthara madam was such a simple human being inspite of being such a huge star. She encouraged me a lot and was always pleasant. Producer Rajesh sir’s hospitality and the way he treated everyone on the sets was so touching. I am very happy with the response that my role is getting from the audience and I am looking forward to more such solid roles."
