Suseenthiran gets candid about the washout failure of Rajapattai

Director Suseenthiran is gearing up for the release of his 10th film, Nenjil Thunivirunthal this Friday. He is known to be a very fast and prolific director and is already almost done with his next film too. In a recent interview to a popular national daily, Suseenthiran talked about the failure of Rajapattai (his star vehicle with Vikram in 2011),

"I can't blame anyone but there were problems with that film right from the beginning. But that film taught me a lot and I started giving a lot more importance to scripts. If you fail with a big star, then you're finished. Offers dried up and I had to produce my own film to get back in the game."

 

Suseenthiran also said that he had wanted Dhanush to act in Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu and Kamal Haasan to do Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai.
