'Jigarthanda' Kathiresan bags Moondru Mugam rights

Kathiresan, the producer of Jigarthanda has bought the remake rights of the yesteryear movie Moondru Mugam from Sathya Movies RM Veerappan. Superstar Rajinikanth, played a cop character named Alex Pandiyan was the highlight of the movie.  

As the remake is confirmed, the big names are going rounds for the Alex Pandiyan Character. The cast and crew are yet to be finalized. Rajinikanth's Billa remake with Ajith kumar turned out to be a blockbuster. We need to wait and see whether Moondru Mugam also get the same response or not.
