Actor Mirnaa who seen playing the role of daughter in law of Rajini in Jailer is reprising her role in Jailer 2, the sequel to Nelson’s blockbuster. At a recent college event, Mirnaa hinted at what to expect from the film, saying the sequel will match the impact of the first part’s interval. “You saw how powerful the interval block of Jailer was. Jailer 2 will also have a similar high,” she said, teasing fans about her presence in that portion.

She also spoke about working with Rajinikanth, recalling her admiration for the superstar. “When I met him on the sets, I remembered the iconic Padaiyappa dialogue about his style and charm. I feel blessed to have worked with him for nearly three years,” she added.

Jailer 2 will see Rajinikanth return as ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian, alongside Ramya Krishnan. Shivarajkumar is also set to reprise his cameo, while Vinayakan returns despite his character’s fate in the first film.  The sequel features several new additions including Mithun Chakraborty, Santhanam, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vijay Sethupathi, and Meghana Raj, with more big names rumoured to be part of the ensemble. Backed by Sun Pictures, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander and is targeting a June release.
