Dude starring Pradeep Ranganathan, Mamitha Baiju, R. Sarathkumar among others, is a romantic action comedy that released in theaters this Diwali on October 17, 2025. The movie written and directed by debutant Keerthiswaran has been received well, and Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind the film have now confirmed that Dude is inching the Rs. 100 Cr. mark in global box-office collections. 

In the first five days of its release i.e. from October 17 - October 21, 2025, Dude has grossed Rs. 95 Cr+ at the worldwide box-office, according to an official announcement. Among the Tamil movie releases this Diwali 2025, Dude has managed to rake in the most collections at the box-office. 

Pradeep Ranganathan who debuted as a director with the Tamil film Comali (2019), has quickly risen in the acting ranks, giving two Rs 100 Cr+ grossers — Love Today (2022), and Dragon (2025). Dude will be the third consecutive 100 Cr. grosser for Pradeep, who will next be seen in the Vignesh Shivan directed Love Insurance Kompany.
