The Greatest of All Time aka The GOAT, is an upcoming Vijay starrer action thriller that is set to release in theaters on September 5, 2024. Vijay plays an agent of the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad aka SATS, who is also a retired family man. Vijay also plays a younger character named Jeevan, who is SATS agent Gandhi's son.
Along with Vijay in dual roles of Gandhi, and his de-aged Jeevan, The Greatest of All Time also stars Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, YG Mahendran, Arvind Akash, late actor Vijayakanth in an AI cameo, and cricketer MS Dhoni in a possible cameo.
The Greatest of All Time's Telugu advance bookings is all set to open from 5: 28 PM today. The film's crew recently had a pre-release event in Hyderabad, and at the The GOAT Telugu's pre-release event, representative of Mythri Film Distributors had this to say about the film's release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states:
"If you see the last 5 years, every film of Vijay is doing very good (in Telugu states). Confirm that The GOAT will be his career best release (in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). (Compared to the) previous screens (number), this will be the highest release. This film in my expectations will break all the records from both the Telugu states. So we are looking (at) very big numbers (box-office wise)."

The GOAT runtime break - first half: 1 hour 28 minutes 33 seconds, second half: 1 hour 34 minutes 40 seconds. Mythri Movie Distributors is said to have planned a 4 AM first show for The Greatest of All Time in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
