The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT) starring Vijay in the lead is all set for a grand release in theaters on September 5, 2024 (Thursday). The movie written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, is touted to be a sci-fi action thriller, and is produced by AGS Entertainment. Amidst the busy promotions for the film, director Venkat Prabhu took to X on Tuesday, to register his praise of the word play in The GOAT's fourth single, the Matta song.

The Greatest of All Time also stars Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Pemgi Amaren, Vaibhav, Arvind Akash, Jayaram, YG Mahendran among others. The movie is expected to have cameos by actress Trisha, cricketer MS Dhoni, besides the AI cameo of later actor Vijayakanth.
