Dhanush directed action crime film Raayan released in theaters on July 26, 2024, and is currently gearing up for a digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video (Raayan's OTT release date is August 23, 2024). At this time, Sun Pictures, the production banner behind Raayan has unveiled the video song of the film's hit first single, Adangaatha Asuran. 

An AR Rahman composition, Adangaatha Asuran has lyrics by Dhanush, and is sung by both AR Rahman and Dhanush. Prabhu Deva has choreographed this dance number, which also features SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan in it. 

Raayan also stars Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Saravanan, among others. Besides Tamil, the movie is also gearing up to stream in dubbed versions of Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
