Star, a coming-of-age drama written and directed by Elan, and starring Kavin, Lal, Aaditi Pohankar, Preity Mukhudhan, Geetha Kailasam, director Vetrimaaran in a cameo among others, released in theaters on May 10, 2024. This Star movie has now made its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video, and Star's OTT release date is June 7, 2024. 

Star was made available to stream at midnight IST, in the Tamil language with English subtitles. 

A joint production venture of Rise East Entertainment, and Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, Star comes with a runtime of 2 hours and 37 minutes. Star film follows a young Kalaiarasan's (Kavin) lifelong dream of becoming an actor, supported by his father (Lal), which is tested when a tragic accident leaves him unrecognizable and shattered. Amidst love lost and responsibilities abandoned, a new relationship sparks hope, and the movie explores his journey to reclaim his dreams against all odds.
