Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan in the lead is an upcoming sequel to director Shankar's blockbuster hit Indian (1996). The movie scheduled to release in theaters on July 12, 2024, is currently gearing up for a second single release after Paaraa, composed by Anirudh Ravichander. 

Indian 2 second single release date is March 29, 2024 [Wednesday], and the song featuring actors Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh has been hinted to be a romantic number. Sony Music label holds the audio rights to Indian 2. 

A Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies venture, Indian 2 will also be releasing in Hindi as Hindustaani 2 and Telugu as Bharateeyudu 2. The movie is gearing up for an audio launch on June 1, 2024 [Saturday].
