[Updated: April 22, 2024] Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan in the lead is a highly awaited sequel to director Shankar's blockbuster Tamil movie Indian (1996). Indian 2 is currently gearing up for a first single release composed by music director Anirudh Ravichander, and this song's title has now been revealed as Paaraa (Tamil), Souraa (Telugu) and Jaago (Hindi).

Indian 2 first single releases on May 22, 2024 [Wednesday] at 5 PM. Promos of the first single in all languages is out now and the same can be viewed above [Tamil] and below [Telugu, Hindi].

Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies - the banners behind the movie, also recently confirmed that Indian 2 release date is July 12, 2024 [Friday]. Lyricist Pa. Vijay has penned Paaraa from Indian 2, and the song has vocals by Anirudh and Shruthika Samudhrala. 

Souraa from Bharateeyudu 2 has lyrics by Suddala Ashok Teja, whereas Jaago from Hindustani 2 has lyrics by Manoj Muntashir Shukla. Indian 2 first single has been sung by Anirudh and Shruthika Samudhrala in all languages.

Sony Music label has the audio rights to Indian 2. Indian 2's OTT rights are with Netflix, and satellite rights with Kalaignar TV Tamil channel.
