Star, written and directed by Elan of Pyaar Prema Kaadhal (2018) fame is an upcoming Tamil language drama starring actor Kavin the lead. The movie with Yuvan Shankar Raja for music is all set to hit theater screens on May 10, 2024, and here is Star's USA theater list:

Star is Kavin's follow-up film to Dada (2023), which made a mark last year both response and lead-star performance wise. Kavin plays a youngster named Kalai in the movie, and his rise from a struggling actor to making it in Tamil cinema is what the Star movie is all about. 

Star is a production venture of Rise East Entertainment and Sri Venakteswara Cine Creations, and also has Lal, Aaditi Pohankar, Preity Mukhundhan, Geetha Kailasam, among others in its cast. Prime Media is releasing Star movie in the US, which comes with a runtime of 158. 50 minutes  i.e. 2 hours 38 minutes 50 seconds. 

The film's technical crew also includes Ezhil Arasu K for cinematography, Pradeep E Ragav for edits, Vinoth Raj Kumar N for art/production design, Vicky for stunts and Sathish Krishnan for choreography. Sony Music label has the audio rights to Star.
