Actor K. Manikandan who made his solo lead debut with Good Night (2023), will next be seen in a romance drama titled Lover, scheduled to release in theaters on February 9, 2023. Lover which is also releasing in Telugu as True Lover is written and directed by feature film debutant Prabhuram Vyas.

MovieCrow hears, Lover's trailer and audio release date is February 2, 2024. An official announcement on the same however awaits. Also starring Sri Gouri Priya in the lead, Lover has Sean Roldan for music. The movie also reunites Good Night producers Million Dollar Studios, MRP Entertainment with the film's distributor Sakthi Film Factory. 

Mass Movie Makers and Maruthi Team are releasing True Lover in Telugu.
