Dhruva Natchathiram starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead was scheduled for to release in theaters worldwide today i.e. November 24, 2023. In the lead up to the film's release, Dhruva Natchathiram's writer, director, producer Gautham Vasudev Menon had dropped hints of this release not being certain due to the financial obstacles his production was mired in. So while Dhruva Natchathiram's postponement does not come as a complete shock, it does however come across as a disappointment.

Currently, the fans are making do with Harris Jayaraj composed Dhruva Natchathiram album that has released in full with all five 5 songs on audio streaming platforms.

Gautham Menon is said to be back on payments upto Rs. 64 Cr. (industry buzz) in relation to Dhruva Natchathiram. The director was also facing two cases against him, in which the Madras High Court had instructed to pay an amount of Rs 2 Cr. to All In Pictures before 10: 30 am on November 24, to release Dhruva Natchathiram.
