A science-fiction comedy, Ayalaan starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead is all set for a teaser release now and the video will be unveiled on October 6, 2023 [Friday]. Written and directed by R. Ravikumar Indru Netru Naalai (2015) fame, Ayalaan was first announced in 2016, began shooting in 2018 and completed production in 2022. The film is finally set for a theatrical release in January 2024 for the Pongal/Sankranti holiday season in India. 

Ayalaan is a joint production venture of 24 AM Studios, PhantomFX Studios and is being released by KJR Studios. The film has AR Rahman for music and a CG generated alien plays a pivotal role in the movie. The film's cast also includes Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar, Isha Koppikar, Bhanupriya, Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, Bala Saravanan among others.
