Tamilarasan [also stylized Thamizharasan/Thamezharasan] is a Vijay Antony starrer that released in theaters on April 22, 2023. The movie which is inspired by the Denzel Washington starrer Hollywood movie John Q (2002), follows the story of an honest cop who takes a hospital hostage after greedy staff of the facility neglect his son's heart transplant. 

Tamilarasan is all set for a digital premiere on Zee 5 streaming platform, and the film's OTT release date is June 16, 2023 i.e. tomorrow. Written and directed by Babu Yogeswaran, Tamilasaran also stars Ramya Nambeesan as the female lead, Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi as a doctor, and Bollywood actor Sonu Sood as a high ranking cop among others.
