Thalapathy 68 (tentative title) is actor Vijay's upcoming movie with director Venkat Prabhu and production banner AGS Entertainment. The movie was announced with Yuvan Shankar Raja for music and an official announcement on the rest of the cast and crew awaits. At this time it is being said that the film's director is keen on roping in actress Jyotika in Thalapathy 68. 

Vijay and Jyotika had famously shared screen-space in hit Tamil movies like Kushi (2000) and Thirumalai (2003), and the on-screen pair's reunion almost happened in AGS Entertainment's 2019 movie Bigil. If on-board Thalapathy 68, Jyotika will be reuniting with Vijay after 20 years. 

Thalapathy 68 comes with the tagline 'A Venkat Prabhu puzzle'. Actor SJ Suryah has been buzzed to play villain in the movie, and the film is has been buzzed to be titled CSK - a moniker popularized in Tamil Nadu by an IPL cricket team. Thalapathy 68 is expected to go on floors soon, and the film is said to aiming a Tamil New Year release in 2024.
