The trailer release date of actor Dhanush's upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual - Vaathi/Sir has been officially announced as February 8, 2023 [Wednesday]. Written and directed by Venky Atluri, Vaathi is set in the 90s and has Dhanush playing a junior lecturer who stands against the institutes providing education to children in exchange for business profits. The movie is all set to release in theaters on February 17, 2023. 

Also starring Samyuktha Menon in the lead, Vaathi/Sir has GV Prakash for music, and is produced by Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Entertainments. The film is being distributed in Tamil Nadu by 7 Screen Studio.
