Director Pa. Ranjith produced Bommai Nayagi is an upcoming social drama written and directed by Shan, and the movie starring Yogi Babu in the lead is all set to hit theater screens on February 3, 2023. A special screening of the film seems to have been held today for select audience, and the first reviews from this premiere are out now.

Yogi Babu plays the doting father of his daughter named Bommu (played by child artiste Srimanthi), and trailer of the movie showed that something unfortunate happens to her. The oppressed and less fortunate Yogi Babu then goes on a legal crusade after his daughter's missing incident, and what happens next is what forms the rest of this stirring story. The movie has been censored with an U/A.

Bommai Nayagi also stars Subathra, Harikrishnan among others and is produced under the banners Neelam Productions and Yaazhi Films. The post-theatrical OTT and satellite rights of Bommai Nayagi are with Zee5 and Zee Tamil respectively.
