Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been active in the film industry for 42 years now, and the Hindi film actor is finally making his debut in Kollywood aka the Tamil film industry. Thalapathy 67 (tentative title) is an upcoming gangster action drama starring Vijay in the lead, and 7 Screen Studios that is producing the movie has officially confirmed Dutt's presence in the movie.

Unveiling a poster that quoted Sanjay Dutt on why he chose to do Thalapathy 67, 7 Screen Studio tweeted,

Team Thalapathy 67 along with actors Vijay, Trisha and Priya Anand have landed in Srinagar for a Kashmir schedule. As reported previously, Sanjay Dutt will also be a part of this schedule. Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Thalapathy 67 also stars Gautham Menon, Arjun, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Bigg Boss Tamil 6 fame Janany, among others.
