Actors Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara have reunited as the lead pair for an upcoming Tamil movie titled Iraivan, which is written and directed by I. Ahmed of Vaamanan (2009), Endrendrum Punnagai (2013) and the Jolly LLB remake Manithan (2016) fame. The movie's post-theatrical digital rights are with Netflix streaming platform and the film's OTT release date is expected to be 30 days after it hits the big screens. 

Iraivan is touted to be a thriller and has Jayam Ravi playing a cop. The film will premiere on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages. Passion Studios is producing Iraivan and its technical crew includes Yuvan Shankar Raja for music, Hari K Vedanth for cinematography and Manikanda Balaji for edits.
