Vaathi [Sir in Telugu] is actor Dhanush's upcoming bilingual and the first single from the movie titled Vaa Vaathi has now been unveiled. A GV Prakash composition, Vaa Vaathi is sung by Shweta Mohan and has lyrics by Dhanush himself. The soulful melody's lyric video also features snippets of Dhanush and film's female lead Samyuktha. 

The Telugu version of this song is titled Mastaaru Mastaaru and the same can be viewed below. Mastaaru Mastaaru has lyrics by Ramajogaiah Sastry.

Aditya Music holds the audio rights to Vaathi/ Sir, which is directed by Venky Atluri and produced by Fortune Four Cinemas, Sithara Entertainment and Srikara Studios. The movie's last officially announced release date is December 2, 2022 but word has it that the film is getting postponed to February, 2023.
