In August last year, Lyca Productions had shared that they have been shooting a film with actor Atharvaa Murali and director Sarkunam, and that it was the production house's 22nd project. The title of this movie was officially revealed to be Pattathu Arasan today and its first look was also unveiled. 

The poster featured Atharvaa and Rajkiran in their absolute rustic element. Pattathu Arasan has debutante Ashika Ranganath playing female lead, and also stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Jaya Prakash, RK Suresh, Singam Puli, Bala Saravanan, GM Kumar among others.

The film has Ghibran for music, Loganathan for cinematography and Raja Mohammed for edits.
