Varisu is an upcoming Vijay starrer which is currently gearing up to begin its next schedule at Hyderabad. In the meantime, film's composer Thaman sharing a picture with director Vamshi Paidipally and Tamil lyricist Vivek has updated that music work for the movie went on over the weekend.

Varisu, titled Vaarasudu in Telugu is scheduled for a Pongal/Sankranthi in January, 2023. The movie produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations has already completed 45% shooting and two songs remain to be filmed along with other portions. The film, touted to be a family entertainer plans to wrap by September this year.
