Actor Silambarasan TR starrer Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu (VTK) is an upcoming Gautham Menon directorial which is said to revolve around the struggles of an out-of-town youngster with limited means, in a big city. The movie which is produced by Vels Film International has A.R. Rahman for music and is expected to release in theaters this year.

At this time, MovieCrow learns that Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu's post theatrical OTT rights has been picked up by Aha Tamil. An official announcement on the same however awaits. VTK also stars Siddhi Idani as Paavai, Raadika Sarathkumar as Muthu's mother, Family Man fame Neeraj Madhav as Sridharan and has Siddhartha Nuni for cinematography, Anthony for edits.
