Dhanush's latest release Atrangi Re (Galatta Kalyaanam) released on Disney Plus Hotstar at midnight and less than 15 hours later, the actor made an announcement about his new project. We had reported last December that director Arun Matheswaran has narrated a script to Dhanush and earlier this year that Sathya Jyothi Films will be bankrolling this project.

Dhanush has now confirmed that he is indeed Arun Matheswaran's next hero. An official confirmation on the rest of the details await though.
