Raja Rani creates waves at the Box Office

Raja Rani starring Arya, Nayanthara, Jai, Nazriya Nazim and Sathyraj hit the screens on September 27. The film directed by debutant Atlee is creating quite a buzz at the box office. The film has received tremendous response from the audience. 

According to Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has collected around 12.2 crores in its opening weekend. 

Raja Rani Opening weekend [Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka]: Fri - 3.7 cr, Sat - 4 cr, Sun - 4.5 cr. Total: 12.2 cr

The film has been doing well at the Overseas market as well. It has collected around 5.02 cr in the opening weekend.

Raja Rani BO collections indicate that it is the biggest opening in Arya's career till date. The film was produced by AR Murugadoss jointly with Fox Star Studios. GV Prakash has scored the music.
