Actor Suriya's Jai Bhim which received rave reviews for highlighting the plight of tribal communities in our country, is all set for a world television premiere (WTP) now. The movie will be aired on Kalaignar TV on a special occasion, and the twitter handle of the Tamil channel recently hinted the same. 

Jai Bhim is the second direct Amazon Prime Video release, that Kalaignar TV has bagged in 2021. Previously they obtained the satellite rights for Pa. Ranjith directed Sarpatta starring Arya in the lead. 

Jai Bhim is directed by former journalist TJ Gnanavel and the film follows the story of a pregnant woman from a primitive tribal community, who is in search of her missing husband from police custody. Suriya plays a high Court advocate named Chandru, who rises in support to seek justice for her.
