Actor Vadivelu has been all the buzz recently, with him finally coming out of his 3-year feud with director Shankar over Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi and immediately signing a five film deal with Lyca productions. But how exactly did Lyca, a reputed production banner and the comedian cross paths is a question many fans had in mind.

Turns out, director Shankar's S Pictures was making Imsai Arasan 24 AM Pulikesi for Lyca Productions on a first copy basis and the red-card issued on Vadivelu which prevented him from acting unless he cleared the loss for delay of the movie, is now being compensated through the film deal with Lyca.

Lyca's Subaskaran who recently visited India met with Vadivelu at a star-hotel for a discussion and Vadivelu agreed to compensate for Imsai Arasan sequel's losses by acting in two movies for the banner. The rest three are additional projects the production house has signed with the Vaigai Puyal. 

It is worth mentioning here that among these 5 projects, Vadivelu will appear as the lead in two. One of these two is a movie titled Naai Sekar, which is a spin-off to his famous comedy character from the 2006 movie Thalai Nagaram. Suraj who wrote and directed the original will be helming Naai Sekar as well.
