Director P.S. Mithran's upcoming film with Karthi has been titled Sardar and the first look, motion poster of the movie was unveiled on Sunday. Sardar which also stars Raashi Khanna and Karnan actress Rajisha Vijayan, begins shooting today. 

Produced by Prince Pictures, Sardar has G.V. Prakash for music and the technical crew also includes George C Williams for cinematography,  K Kadhir for art, Dhilip Subbarayan for stunts and Ruben for the edits.

Yugabharathi is the lyricist for the movie while M.R Pon Parthipan, Roju, Bipin Ragu are credited as writers.
