Simbu's Eeswaran directed by Suseenthiran is scheduled for a Pongal 2021 (January) release and the film has Thaman for music. The latest news about the film is that, the makers have sold the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights to leading distributor 7G Film for a good price. The film is now all set to release the film for Pongal!  

Nidhhi Agerwal, Nandita Sweta and Bharathi Raja play key roles in the movie which has Tirru for cinematography and Antony for edits.
