Rashmika Mandanna of Kirik Party (Kannada), Geetha Govindam and Sarileru Neekevvaru (Telugu) fame is making her debut in Tamil with the Karthi starrer Sultan and the movie is now all set to resume shooting from next week.

The outbreak of Coronavirus COVID-19 had brought to halt Sultan's shooting process but producer S.R. Prabhu had updated that the film is 90% complete with post-production religiously taking place during the pandemic lockdown.

It remains to be seen if Sultan directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan will release directly on OTT post completion. The film has musical duo Vivek-Merwin as composers.
