Recent buzz about actor Suriya's upcoming projects Aruvaa and Vaadivaasal suggests that the latter will precede the former, as opposed to the order in which the projects were finalized. Vaadivaasal is a Kalaipuli S Thanu production and will be directed by Vetrimaaran. G.V. Prakash is composing the music for this film. 

Aruvaa was announced with director Hari and was expected to begin once the state government lifted the restrictions on film shootings. However the Studio Green Production which was announced with Raashi Khanna as female lead seems likely to be delayed for reasons best known to the team. 

It is worth mentioning here that there are no official announcements on this said development.
