Kabali actress Sai Dhansika who was last seen in Tamil in Kaala Koothu (May, 2018) is all set to feature alongside Vijay Sethupathi in his upcoming film Laabam. The movie has Shruthi Haasan playing female lead and Sai Dhansika who has worked with the film's director S.P. Jananathan in Peranmai (2009), will be seen in a crucial role.

Laabam explores the lives of farmers and how they have been exploited right from the time of the British rule. The film produced by Vijay Sethupathi has Ramji for camera and D.Imman for music.
