Vijay Sethupathi's Sindubaadh which released on June 28 has opened up to mixed reviews from critics and audience. The film on its opening day had started on an average note. The film had grossed Rs. 1.78 Cr in its opening day in Tamil Nadu. 

The film starring Vijay Sethupathi and Anjali in the lead roles is directed by S.U. Arun Kumar who had previously worked with Vijay Sethupathi in films like 'Pannaiyarum Padminiyum' and 'Sethupathi'. This action thriller has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
